Can I get all the Nutrition I Need without Supplements?

Over the past decade I have become a big believer in our need from nutritional supplements. This belief has come from both personal experience and research I have done on this topic as well as seeing the difference high quality nutritional supplements have made in the health...or un-health of people I know.

Nutritional Value of Food is Decreasing
There was a time in history, when nutritional supplements where not necessary but the truth is that the world is a very difference place than it was even 20-30 years ago and the way our foods are grown and processed has affected their nutritional value.



Oxidization Requires Antioxidant Protection
Another thing to consider is the amount of toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis without even realizing it. And the amount is growing which each passing year. Everything from air pollution, to chemicals in our food and personal care products to the radiation from all the technology we use on a daily basis.

Toxins add to the oxidation or deterioration of our cells, which leads to degenerative disease. Antioxidants or vitamins and minerals counteract oxidization. Same concept as using lemon juice to prevent a cut apple from turning brown.

So with toxicity going up and nutrition going down, not to mention the instance of degenerative disease skyrocketing, it only makes sense that we need Nutritional Supplements on top of a Healthy diet.
